This website is where I (Erik Davis) dump various thoughts related to mathematics, computing, and data science. In mathematics, a càdlàg function (derived from the French “continue à droite, limite à gauche”) is one that is continuous from the right, with left limits. Such functions arise in probability theory, for example as cumulative distribution functions. With that said, the name `cadlag dot org` was chosen for more pragmatic reasons: it was short, memorable, and available.

For more information about myself, you may see my CV or LinkedIn. I also sometimes post code at https://github.com/kilimanjaro. If you would like to contact me, my email is erik at <this domain>.
